Our Services
We offer trauma-informed care to help children and their families recover, rebuild, and thrive. Our work centers around compassion, collaboration, and child-centered care.
Forensic Interviews
Professionally trained interviewers speak with children in a safe, neutral setting to reduce trauma and provide clarity for investigations.
Victim Advocacy
Our advocates walk with families every step of the way, connecting them to resources, support groups, and legal guidance.
Community Outreach
We provide abuse prevention education to schools, caregivers, and organizations throughout Jones County and the Pinebelt region.

Our roots are deep in Laurel, MS. From an idea to a center serving children in need, this is how we grew.
2018
Inspired by a parent’s plea, the idea for Cherished Hearts CAC took shape to serve children in Jones County and beyond.
2019
The community came together during a BBQ fundraiser to support the vision of a dedicated, local advocacy center.
2021
Plans to secure a center, hire key staff, and formalize relationships with law enforcement and CPS began in earnest.
2024
We opened our doors at 727 West 5th Street — a welcoming place for children to share, heal, and find justice.
